about

Booze-Rock?

Founded as «The Restless» in 2009, the power trio from Switzerland’s northwestern region Laufental quickly worked itself up the ladder to become one of the most promising bands of the area. In 2015, renamed to «Snakeskin Boozeband», they keep their status up and continue to bewilder with energetic live shows and their independently written and composed songs. Rooted in Hard Rock, Rock’n’Roll, and Metal.

After the demo release "Rock'n'Roll Mad" (2011), followed their first studio album "Snakeskin Boozeband" (2016), which was recorded in their own recording studio VIPAL and engineered and refined by V.O. Pulver (Little Creek Studio). With it, the band set course for all stages primed for a good load of Booze-Rock. This included appearances at the Birsrock Festival (BL), Leimentaler Openair (BL), Biomill (BL), Grand Casino Basel (BS) and Atlantis (BS).

After the single release "Where's The Justice / On The Run" (2018) and more live shows, the guys worked on their second studio album "Open For Boozeness" (2021), which they also recorded in the VIPAL recording studio. In this record there is just as much love and joy as sweat and hard work. Their autobiographical songs not only talk about funny and drinking experiences with friends, but also about sad moments and the uncertainties of life. So, the band once again gives listeners deep insights into their existence, while also leaving enough room for listeners to interpret the narratives in line with their own experiences and situations. This disc was pimped up by Michael Stalder (United Studios, Mix) and Christoph Beyerlein (Stem Masters, Mastering), visually completed for everyone’s taste by Hans Kühne (Kühnegrafik) and launched in cooperation with the label "Sixteentimes Music".
